Girls on the Run
The social emotional well-being of students is essential to them having a successful future. The Hopkinton Youth Commission is excited to launch our new program.  In partnership with Erin Mahoney, founder of the nationally acclaimed Girl PowerGo program, we are proud to offer several customized workshops for every age range. Our innovative program allows girls to strengthen their social and relationship skills while developing their self-esteem, confidence and leadership skills!

Girl Power Go Class Offerings
Grades K-1, December 3rd: Feeling Good in Your Skin and Embracing Differences
Grades 6-7, January 21st: You be YOU and I’ll be ME!
Grades 9-12, January 28th: Positive Vibes for Young Women
Grades 2-3, March 11th: Dream BIG – Vision boards
Grades 4-5, April 8th : Growing into Yourself and Defining who YOU want to be

Grade 5, May 6th: Preparing for Middle School
Grade 8, May 20th: Preparing for High School

Fee Waivers Available
The Hopkinton Youth Commission has spots reserved for Hopkinton families who are unable to afford the registration fees for You Go, Girl!. If the registration fees for any Girl Power Go workshop will place a financial hardship on your family, please contact Denise Hildreth to register your child free of charge. Call 508-497-9781 or email dhildreth@hopkintonma.gov. All information is confidential.

Refund Policy
If you withdraw from a program at anytime prior to two weeks before the program start date, you will receive an account credit good towards other Parks and Recreation programs. Account credits do not expire. Account credit will not be issued if the cancellation takes places within two weeks of the program start date. Cancellations due to a medical emergency will have the option to receive an account credit or a refund at anytime with proper medical documentation. If a program is cancelled by Parks and Recreation, you will have the option to receive an account credit or a refund for that program.
