Basketball Clinic for Girls - Summer - Girls Baskeball Clinic: Session 1 gr 4-6 The Hopkinton High Girls Basketball Coaching Staff along with many of the past and current Hillers Varsity Girls Players will teach participants all about the fundamentals of basketball in a fun, positive, and competitive format. Players will participate in skill-appropriate drills, competitions, and games as well as learn proper shooting, passing, rebounding, and defensive fundamentals. This clinic is appropriate for players of all skill levels and playing experience.Instruction will focus on individual skills as well as guard, wing, and post play with an emphasis on specific offensive and defensive principles implemented in the Hopkinton Hillers Girls Basketball Program. Participants will go through many of the same drills used at the varsity and sub-varsity levels and learn the terminology used by the Hillers players and coaching staff. Football Clinic - Football Clinic The Hopkinton High School Football program is thrilled to offer a 4-day, non-contact football clinic for the youth of Hopkinton! Our goal is to share our passion, knowledge, and expertise in a fun, safe, and positive environment. Clinic Highlights:
Players will be grouped by age, size, and experience to ensure appropriate instruction and competition.
Introduction to all aspects of football, including offense, defense, and special teams.
Focus on the fundamentals and techniques of every football position.
Exciting 7v7 flag football games to apply learned skills in a game setting.
Participation in NFL Combine-style drills such as:
40-yard dash
Shuttle run
Long jump
Vertical jump
Emphasis on sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethic, attitude, and discipline—core values of the Hopkinton Football Program.
Whether your child is new to football or looking to sharpen their skills, this clinic provides a great opportunity to learn and grow with guidance from the Hopkinton High School coaching staff.Players should bring water, lunch, snacks, sunscreen and an age appropriate football -please make sure your name is on the ball.This clinic is run by Mark Sanborn, Head Football Coach at Hopkinton High School, along with his experienced staff and current Hiller football players.
