Little Drummers Get ready to move, groove, and make some noise! In this lively music program, children will explore the joy of rhythm through songs, movement, and hands-on play with percussion instruments. Each week features musical games and adventures that introduce little drummers to different instrument families and sounds from around the world. Kids will build coordination, listening, and memory skills while playing both non-pitched and pitched percussion instruments, strengthening fine and gross motor skills along the way. Most of all, they’ll gain confidence and have fun expressing themselves through music!Note: This is a drop-off program, though guardians are welcome to relax in our vestibule or gallery space during class.

Explore Your Creative Side! Don’t miss this opportunity to unlock your artistic potential! Local Hopkinton resident and art enthusiast Stacie Kirkwood will guide participants through a series of hands-on projects designed to inspire creativity and build confidence. Each session will focus on exploring different techniques and materials, allowing you to experiment, express yourself, and take home a finished piece of artwork.There are four opportunities to join the fun!Session 1 Egg PaintingIn this fun, hands-on art class, kids paint wooden eggs using bright, colorful paints and glitter to create one-of-a-kind designs. They’ll explore patterns, colors, and creative details while turning each egg into a unique masterpiece. Every child leaves with a sparkling creation and a sense of pride in their artwork. StencilingIn this creative kids art class, children use stencils and a variety of paints to design bold, colorful artwork. They’ll layer shapes, experiment with colors, and explore different painting techniques while creating unique pieces. The class encourages creativity, confidence, and hands-on artistic fun. Marble MazesIn this hands-on kids art and engineering class, children use cardboard and glue to design and build their own workable marble mazes. They’ll problem-solve as they plan paths, ramps, and obstacles to guide a marble from start to finish. The class blends creativity and STEM skills while encouraging experimentation and teamwork.  Session 2 Critter CreationsKids use pipe cleaners, pom-poms, googly eyes, paper, and glue to design their own cute and cuddly critters. They’ll mix and match materials to bring imaginative creatures to life while building creativity and fine motor skills. Each child takes home their one-of-a-kind critter to proudly show off. Sun CatchersIn this bright and creative kids art class, children make colorful sun catchers using transparent sheets, glue, and vibrant pieces of paper. They’ll layer and spread glue to hold their designs in place while exploring color and light. Each child takes home a finished sun catcher to display and enjoy. Bird House PaintingIn this spring-inspired art class, kids paint wooden birdhouses using bright colors and cheerful designs to welcome the season. They’ll decorate their birdhouses with patterns, flowers, and playful details while exploring creativity and brush techniques. Each child takes home a one-of-a-kind birdhouse ready for display or outdoor use. Session 3 Paper FlowersIn this delightful art class, kids create paper flowers using tissue paper and pipe cleaners to build their own mini garden. They’ll layer and shape each bloom to make vibrant, whimsical flowers. Every child leaves with a beautiful paper garden to take home and enjoy. Springtime SLIMEIn this fun springtime slime class, kids mix glue, activator, pastel colors, and glitter to create their own stretchy, sparkly slime.
