HHS Girls Soccer Summer Training is a 5-week program hosted by the Varsity Captains to help players prepare for the Fall 2022 season. Training is optional and open to all Hopkinton High School students entering grades 9-12. Each 2-hour training session will consist of one hour of soccer specific athletic training and one hour of game/technical soccer training.The Athletic training will be led by Steve Cimino, a certified strength and conditioning coach at Prototype Training. The Athletic training will focus on soccer specific movements to improve first step quickness, agility, foot/ground contact and foot/ankle strength. In addition to the in-person sessions, each participant will be provided access to a full weekly training program using the TrueCoach mobile app.Game and technical soccer training will be led by the Varsity Captains and returning Varsity players. The soccer training will consist of a variety of game scenarios and practice drills to improve technical skills (dribbling, passing, receiving, shooting) as well as 1v1 and 2v2 skills.2-PART REGISTRATIONStep 1: Click here to Register with Prototype Athletic Training. If the team is full, please complete the checkout process to be placed on the wait list. We will be monitoring registrations and making adjustments throughout the Spring. Hopkinton Hillers Boys Summer Soccer League is open to Hopkinton High School boys grades 9-12.  League games are only open to returning Varsity and JV1 players. Games will take place on Mondays and Wednesday evenings. Please refer to the schedule for location. Games begin on June 27th and end on August 10th. Home game times and location may vary, please check the schedule for the specifics. Please note most Wednesday games will be played at the away team's field.Additional playing opportunities for all other interested High School players will come from Soccer captains and will begin in early August. Exact schedule will come directly from the captains.All participants need to register with Parks and Recreation, see activity belowThe additional fee for league games only must be paid to Amy Mick via venmo @Amy-Mick. This fee is only for returning Varsity and JV1 players who will be taking part in the July games.
