Come learn the Olympic sport of archery! Teams of certified USA Archery Instructors provide all equipment necessary for participants to learn the fundamentals and find their new passion. Each student receives their own bow, quiver, arrows and shooting lane spaced out 6’ or more apart from others. No prior experience necessary. Lessons include safety, skill technique, archery games and prizes for the top ace.This program is open to youth and adults! A great family activity!Presented by On the Mark Archery. Archery should be safe and fun. This balance is critical to make the experience in our programs exciting for all who want to explore the way of the bow. Our ‘learn by playing’ philosophy enables us to integrate key concepts of the shot process with unique challenges that engage students and give them a goal to work towards.

Hopkinton Babe Ruth is excited to offer Fall Ball this year!Hopkinton Babe Ruth's goal is to provide teenagers aged 13-16, of all ability levels, the opportunity to play organized baseball after they have aged out of Hopkinton Little League. Everyone is welcome to play in a fun, competitive, and educational environment.Hopkinton Babe Ruth Fall LeagueTwo games per week, one weeknight and one weekend, times TBDHopkinton Babe Ruth participates in the Tri-Valley Babe Ruth Fall League.  The league is for players of all ability levels and there are no tryouts. Attendance is flexible with 50% regular season attendance required for playoff eligibility. All Hopkinton players are welcome even if they did not play in the HBR spring or summer seasons. The fall season consists of a 10-game regular season followed by a playoff ending in Mid/late-October. There will be a balance of home and away games depending on field availability and weather. Away games can include Holliston, Medway, Millis, Ashland, Medfield, Franklin, or Hopedale. There are two games per week - one weeknight and one on Saturday. There are no practices. Dates listed below are estimates only, exact schedule will be determined in early September, please email hopkintonbaberuth@gmail.com with questions.The league is broken into two age divisions: Minors, ages 13 to 14 and Majors, ages 15 to 17. Flag Football is back! Flag Football is open to girls and boys in grades 4-8. This is a non-contact league. There will be blocking above the waist and occasional incidental contact but there will be no tackling of any kind. Mouth guards are required. Cleats are good, sneakers are fine.All practices and games will take place on Sundays from 4:00-6:15pm on the Fruit Street fields. Information about team placement will be sent prior to the start of the program. We cannot take requests for team placement. After feedback from the Spring Flag Season, we have broken the grades out into two groups. This will ensure a positive and safe experience for all!Due to the growing popularity of flag football, Parks and Rec has teamed up with Skyhawks Sports in order to provide a positive experience for all participants. Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football is an exciting introduction to America’s favorite game! Using skills and drills from the Football Development Model, developed by the experts at the sport’s national governing body – USA Football – players will gain confidence and prepare for league play. Coaches will teach the key concepts of passing, receiving, running, kicking, punting, and flag pulling, all presented in a positive environment. Athletes will learn developmentally appropriate fundamentals and critical life lessons.

The pre-academy is specifically focused on players in the 2013&14 birth year  pool. Players in this age bracket fall under the "Foundation Phase" of our player development pathway. Join Ritu Kapur from Sohum Yoga for gentle yoga, meditation and hiking. Class will be 75 minutes. We will begin with gentle yoga poses, followed by light hiking and ending with more yoga as well as a short meditation.Yoga and Hiking is appropriate for adults at all levels. Come learn the Olympic sport of archery! Teams of certified USA Archery Instructors provide all equipment necessary for participants to learn the fundamentals and find their new passion. Lessons include safety, skill technique, archery games and prizes for the top ace.This program is open to youth and adults! This balance is critical to make the experience in our programs exciting for all who want to explore the way of the bow. Cleats are good, sneakers are fine.All practices and games will take place on Sundays from 4:00-6:15pm on the Fruit Street fields. Information about team placement will be sent prior to the start of the program. We cannot take requests for team placement. After feedback from the Spring Flag Season, we have broken the grades out into two groups. This will ensure a positive and safe experience for all!Due to the growing popularity of flag football, Parks and Rec has teamed up with Skyhawks Sports in order to provide a positive experience for all participants. Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football is an exciting introduction to America’s favorite game! Using skills and drills from the Football Development Model, developed by the experts at the sport’s national governing body – USA Football – players will gain confidence and prepare for league play. Coaches will teach the key concepts of passing, receiving, running, kicking, punting, and flag pulling, all presented in a positive environment. Athletes will learn developmentally appropriate fundamentals and critical life lessons.

The AVSC Pre-Academy program is an age-appropriate introduction to training and team play before experiencing the competitive environment of premier soccer. The pre-academy is specifically focused on players in the 2013&14 birth year  pool. Players in this age bracket fall under the "Foundation Phase" of our player development pathway. The AVSC Pre-Academy program is an age-appropriate introduction to training and team play before experiencing the competitive environment of premier soccer. The pre-academy is specifically focused on players in the 2013&14 birth year  pool. Players in this age bracket fall under the "Foundation Phase" of our player development pathway. Cleats are good, sneakers are fine.All practices and games will take place on Sundays from 4:00-6:15pm on the Fruit Street fields. Information about team placement will be sent prior to the start of the program. We cannot take requests for team placement. After feedback from the Spring Flag Season, we have broken the grades out into two groups. This will ensure a positive and safe experience for all!Due to the growing popularity of flag football, Parks and Rec has teamed up with Skyhawks Sports in order to provide a positive experience for all participants. Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football is an exciting introduction to America’s favorite game! Using skills and drills from the Football Development Model, developed by the experts at the sport’s national governing body – USA Football – players will gain confidence and prepare for league play. Coaches will teach the key concepts of passing, receiving, running, kicking, punting, and flag pulling, all presented in a positive environment. Athletes will learn developmentally appropriate fundamentals and critical life lessons.
