Summer Softball Men's League

This non-competitive softball league will take place on fields at the Hopkinton High School. On Tuesdays & Thursdays games will be played on grass field 12 starting at 6:30pm. On Wednesdays games will be played under the lights on turf field 5 starting at 8:00pm. All games are expected to run an hour and 15 minutes.
Pitch counts and run limits will be included to ensure games move quickly but remain competitive. Players with average to higher skill levels are encouraged to join.
New for 2022
The Parks & Recreation commission has been examining registration policies and procedures. One of the concerns is the ratio of residents to non-residents in our programs. As a result, a policy was put in place that requires all teams participating in Hopkinton Parks & Recreation programs be comprised of a minimum of 50% Hopkinton residents.
New Registration Procedures
If you know which team you would like to play on, please register directly with that team. If the team is full, please complete the checkout process to be placed on the wait list. We will be monitoring registrations and making adjustments throughout the Spring. When you are moved off the wait list you will receive an email alerting you to log in and pay the registration fee.
If you are new to the league and do not have a preferred team, please register via the “free agent" activity and you will be placed on a team. Non-residents who cannot be placed due to ratio restrictions will be refunded.
Please read the code of conduct. You are required to accept the code of conduct in order to play this season.
Please bring your own softball glove and bat. Balls, score books, masks and catcher equipment will be provided.
Cleats with metal spikes are NOT ALLOWED on the turf field.

Refund Policy
If you withdraw from a program at any time prior to two weeks before the program start date, you will receive an account credit good towards other Parks and Recreation programs. Account credits do not expire. Account credit will not be issued if the cancellation takes place within two weeks of the program start date. Cancellations due to a medical emergency will have the option to receive an account credit or a refund at any time with proper medical documentation. If a program is cancelled by Parks and Recreation, you will have the option to receive an account credit or a refund for that program. The processing fee associated with all credit card transactions will not be refunded.
If a program is suspended due to a recommendation by the CDC or the State and local Dept. of Health, customers can elect to take a refund or a credit. Credits will have no expiration date and can be applied to any program and can be used for any member of your household.
