Hopkinton Parks and Recreation is committed to working with the Hopkinton Community Preservation Committee to secure funding for the improvement and creation of recreational facilities in Hopkinton. Over the past 23 years Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds have been used for improvements to Sandy Beach and EMC Playground, construction of the Hopkinton Dog Park and Pickleball Courts, as well as current projects such as a new EMC Skatepark.

To date, Parks and Recreation has completed the following CPC projects: Pickleball & Tennis Courts; Turf Prep at Fruit Street at the Fruit Street Athletic Complex; EMC Playground Equipment Replacement; Fruit Street Dog Park; Lacrosse Wall at the Fruit Street Fields; Safety Netting at the Fruit Street Athletic Complex; Concession Area, Bathrooms & Storage at the Fruit Street Athletic Complex; Sandy Beach Revitalization; Emergency Access Road at the Fruit Street Athletic Complex. A complete list of past and current CPC projects in Hopkinton can be found via the Community Preservation Coalition website.

None of these projects are possible without the support of the residents of Hopkinton. We will be using this space to provide residents with information about CPC, showcase past projects, keep you updated on current projects and provide you with a way to share your thoughts on future projects.
