Come join us for a 3-week craft workshop taught by Hopkinton mother, Stacie Kirkwood, who has enjoyed making similar crafts with her own children. All supplies & materials will be provided.
Students will work independently creating their own projects with the help of their instructor, and take home a finished masterpiece each week.
In the first class, students will design 3-D Valentine’s Day cards using a variety of card stocks, colorful papers, adhesive tape and glue. Children will have fun tracing, cutting, and gluing, while they create unique cards for their beloved valentines.
In the second class, children will paint their own special “heart tree” painting using colorful paints, glitter, canvas and easel. With instructor’s guidance, students will learn how to paint stroke by stroke, creating a magical masterpiece they can keep - or even gift to the special someone for Valentines Day!
In the third class, students will make one-of-a-kind mosaic vases using glue & tissue paper. Once vases are complete, children will create their own floral arrangements, filling their vases with beautiful blooms for their special valentine.
