Participants will also learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based drills and scrimmages. Skyhawks puts the Sports in STEM.
Participants should bring a water bottle and wear appropriate athletic attire.
About STEM & Play Programs
STEM & Play programs use sports as the real-life application to engage elementary and middle school-aged participants. The double-play combination of physical activity and cognitive thinking provides a comprehensive, inquiry-based educational experience and a solution for crucial science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) literacy for students.
