Skiing the Slopes
The Parks and Recreation Department is excited to offer another year of our ski club to the students of Hopkinton. The High School program is for Hopkinton residents in grades 9-12. Participants ski at Wachusett Mountain on Sunday evenings, January 5-February 9, 2025. Students depart on coach buses for the mountain directly from the High School.

Registration requires TWO purchases:

Step 1: Bus Pass, register below. Cost of the bus pass is $130. The last day to purchase a bus pass is December 11th.

Step 2: Lift ticket directly from Wachusett Mountain via their websiteYou must purchase a bus pass before you are able to purchase a school group lift ticket. The invoice for the bus pass will contain the access code needed to purchase your school group lift ticket. Cost of the lift ticket is $189. This will increase by $30 on December 1st. The last day to purchase a lift ticket is December 11th.

Bus Policy
For the safety of all registrants in the ski club, participants who have purchased a bus pass are required to ride the bus to and from the mountain. Participants are not allowed to drive themselves to or from the mountain at any time during the program - no exceptions will be made. Guardians are not allowed to drop off or pick up participants at any time during the program - no exceptions will be made.

Need to rent equipment?
Here are two options:
Rent from Wachusett Mountain via their website.
Skis, snowboards and helmets are available to rent directly through the school group tab. You will be offered rental options when purchasing your group lift ticket. If you choose this option, your child will pick up and drop of the skis at Wachusett Mountain on each trip. This rental option is the most convenient choice for kids who plan to ski only during ski club. Rental pricing is located in the link below titled Wachusett Mountain Info Flyer.

Rent from a local store. Ski Barn Westboro, Boston Ski and Tennis Westboro, Ski Barn, Shrewsbury or Village Ski, Franklin are great locations. This option is great if your child plans to ski throughout the winter, not just during ski club. Costs vary depending on location.

Ski and Board Lessons
Lessons are available to purchase directly from Wachusett Mountain via the school group page on their website.

Questions?
Lift ticket, rental equipment and lesson questions can be answered by reading the Wachusett flyer below or by calling Group Sales at Wachusett Mountain: 978-464-2300 x3550

Detailed program instructions regarding departure and return policies at the High School will be sent by December 19th. Wachusett Mountain provides $20 coupons for missed ski trips. Participants must request their coupon from ski club coordinator on their next ski trip.
