Want to feel confident bringing your child to restaurants or social events? This interactive workshop gives children the skills they need to feel comfortable, self-reliant, and polished in any dining or social setting.
Led by a certified etiquette consultant, participants will learn proper table manners and dining behaviors for use at home, in restaurants, and when meeting new people. Building these skills helps children succeed socially, in school settings, and in future professional environments.
Through hands-on instruction and engaging activities, students will practice essential etiquette skills, including:
- How to approach and be seated at the table
- Proper napkin use
- Understanding place settings
- Correctly holding and using silverware
- Bread and butter etiquette
- Navigating the soup course
- American and Continental dining styles
- Passing food politely
- Handling unwanted food
- Appropriate table conversation

A little bit about the instructor, Nikki Sawhney
Nikki Sawhney is the Director and Founder of the New England School of Protocol and provides workshops & classes in social skills, dining etiquette & modern manners to children, teenagers and adults. Nikki is a graduate of the prestigious American School of Protocol in Atlanta, Georgia where she received professional training earning Certification in Corporate, Business and Children's Etiquette. She has also trained under William Hanson, a British etiquette expert and a tutor for the international protocol and hospitality consultancy firm The English Manner. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and has worked in finance on Wall Street and in the retail industry. Through the New England School of Protocol, Nikki teaches her students how to convey confidence, courtesy, and be self- reliant in any social and dining situation.
