This workshop prepares children to stay safe and confident when home alone for short periods of time. Participants will learn essential skills such as safe telephone and door-answering practices, internet safety, basic first aid, and how to prevent and respond to accidents or fires. The program also covers time management strategies to help children make responsible choices while on their own.
A variety of teaching methods—including interactive activities, video instruction, and role-playing—are used to create a fun, engaging, and practical learning experience.
