Introduction to Skateboarding
This class is perfect for participants with little to no skateboarding experience. Students will learn fundamental skills such as accelerating, balancing, stopping, transitions, and basic tricks—including dropping in and Ollies. Our goal is to help participants build confidence so they can safely and independently apply these skills outside of class.
Beginners / Intermediate Skateboarding
Designed for new skateboarders as well as those looking to take their skills to the next level, this class focuses on strengthening fundamentals while introducing more advanced tricks. Participants will explore flip tricks, grinds, manuals, and vert riding, all while developing the confidence to practice and perform these skills independently.
Equipment & Safety Requirements
Proper safety gear—including a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads—must be worn at all times. Participants should bring a skateboard and athletic shoes. If you do not have a board, please let us know at registration—loaner boards are available.
Ride, learn, and grow…for the love of play!
