Join Snapology for a full day of hands-on fun, creativity, and learning! Each day is packed with exciting projects that blend robotics, engineering, and STEAM-based building challenges - all designed to keep young minds engaged and inspired.
Morning: Robotics Extravaganza
The guided builds teach students about pulley wheels, gear ratio, tilt and motion sensors, combining simple machines, and basic programming. Connecting a tablet with Bluetooth enables experimenting with different coding ideas to bring their race cars, helicopters, animals, (and much more) to life! A ton of fun and a great experience in engineering design and practical robotic problem solving, children will be challenged in ways that will captivate their interests and grow their technical skills! 9:00am-12:00pm
Lunch Break
Participants will enjoy a supervised lunch break with time to relax, eat their packed lunches, and get some fresh air (weather permitting). Our instructor will lead light games and group activities to keep the energy going. 12:00-1:00pm
Afternoon: Pokémania & Minecraft Mash-Up
In this half of the camp we will combine two all-time favorite theme based LEGO programs! Students will explore the Pokémon world and practice their Pokémon training skills! They will use a combination of different LEGO® bricks to create their own training gyms, unique battles, and even their very own generation of Pokémon. On alternative days they will also delve into the world of Minecraft. Bringing the game of Minecraft® out of the computer and into the real-world using LEGO® bricks. In this program, students will go on adventures using their imagination and even designing their own worlds, full of mobs, animals, buildings, and their very own LEGO® Minecraft® character. 1:00-4:00pm
About Snapology Hopedale
At Snapology we believe that children are meant to learn through play. When children are engaged in interactive, hands-on learning activities, their creativity flourishes and they show an increased interest in school. We help your child grow up with a thirst for knowledge. How do we do it? Snapology engages children ages 1-14 using LEGO® bricks, K’Nex and technology. While the kids are having fun with familiar toys, laptops and iPads, we sneak in the learning. Shh, don't tell them it's educational!
