Hopkinton Parks & Recreation, Hopkinton Public Library, and Chess Wizards are excited to invite you to our first chess tournament!
Get ready for an exciting day of chess, friendly competition, and awesome prizes! Join Chess Wizards for a fun-filled tournament where participants can put their chess skills to the test, challenge new opponents, and show off their strategic thinking.
Open to players of all skill levels, from Chesslings to Checkmate Artists, this tournament is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and build confidence while having fun. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced player, you'll enjoy exciting games, new challenges, and the thrill of tournament play!
Come make your moves, sharpen your mind, and see if you can become a Chess Wizards champion!
This program is for ages 5+ and adults are encouraged to register and participate!
Please note that all participants should come with basic knowledge of piece movement, check, checkmate, and game mechanics.
There are limited spaces available and pre-registration is REQUIRED! We are unable to accept walk-in registrations at this time.

Chess Wizards is a premier chess education company providing fun, informative and challenging chess lessons to students. Chess Wizards teaches participants many important life concepts, such as learning the ability to win graciously and accept defeat with dignity and sportsmanship. Chess Wizards has been teaching the game of chess since 2002.

Time: 10:00am-1:00pm, plan to arrive early for check-in
