The Parks and Recreation in-town basketball program is designed to provide a positive environment for youngsters to learn and play basketball with and against their classmates. We offer two programs: clinics for Grades K-2 and leagues for Grades 3-8.
Parent and high school volunteers serve as coaches for the teams and clinics. If you are interested in volunteering, please submit your contact information when you register your child and we will get in touch with you.
Schedule information for clinics and leagues is below. Note that all schedules are subject to change based on gym availability, the number of players and coaches that sign up, and other factors.

GRADE K-2 CLINICS REGISTRATION DEADLINE NOVEMBER 3RD
Kindergarten one hour, co-ed clinics will be held at a TBD HPS gym on Sundays between 8:00am-6:00pm, December 3 through February 11. After registration closes, players will be assigned to an hour-long slot. Parents will be notified in mid-November the time of their child's clinic. We cannot take special requests for time slots.
No clinics will be held over winter break, December 24 and December 31.
Price $85
Grade 1 boys and girls one hour clinics will be held at a TBD HPS gym on Sundays, between 8:00am-6:00pm, December 3 through February 11. After registration closes, players will be assigned to an hour-long slot. Parents will be notified in mid-November the time of their child's clinic. We cannot take special requests for time slots.

Grade 2 boys and girls will have one hour instruction and scrimmages at a TBD HPS gym on Sundays between 8:00am-6:00pm, December 3 through February 11. After registration closes, players will be assigned to an hour-long slot. Parents will be notified in mid-November the time of their child's clinic. We cannot take special requests for time slots. For the final two weeks of the season, players will be assigned to teams and play games.
No clinics over winter break, December 24 and December 31.

All clinic participants will receive a free t-shirt! A pinnie is not needed for the clinics.
